Research

The goal of the Centre is to conduct rigorous academic research by developing innovative approaches to understanding EU constitutional, regulatory, administrative, civil and criminal law as well as the international dimensions of European integration by law.

Research in this area is essential for the development of our understanding of the process of ‘Europeanisation’ of the law and for an informed policy making at national and supra-national levels. The Centre for European law establishes a network of researchers in EU law in Luxembourg and beyond. It seeks to disseminate its research findings through workshops and conferences as well as in all suitable forms of publications. The Centre is host to PhD students and will arrange for visiting scholars.
