Despite the difficult situation worldwide, 50 FDEF students went on mobility during the current winter semester while we welcomed 36 incoming students. We do not know how things will develop internationally but being hopeful, FDEF students are preparing for mobility in the summer semester and 53 incoming students have been accepted. In view of the ever-changing situation, we will adjust as well as advise students with their safety being the top priority. We are also preparing as usual for the mobility in 2021/2022. 

The Global Exchange selection for winter 2021 is finished and students are currently being informed about the outcome. In FDEF, we received a total of 30 applications, of which 24 were eligible for consideration. Of the excellent candidates, 14 Bachelor and Master students were selected. Unfortunately, spots as well as scholarships are limited and not everyone could receive a spot. 

The next Global Exchange selection for a mobility in winter 2022 will be in Fall 2021.

For Bachelor students:

• Erasmus: a link to the online platform where students can apply for up to three universities of their choice from the list of partner universities in their study programme will be communicated at the beginning of the summer semester. The selection is for the complete academic year 2021/2022, winter and summer semester

• Free Mover: if Bachelor students wish to do their mobility semester at a non-partner university, they must ask for the programme director’s approval by sending an email to stephanie.anderson@uni.lu before 30 April for winter 2021 and 30 October for summer 2022.

For Master students:

• Erasmus (not applicable for certain study programmes): a link to the online platform where students can apply for up to three universities of their choice from the list of partner universities in their study programme will be communicated at the beginning of the summer semester. The selection is for the winter semester. LL.M students will not be included in the selection as a departure in the 3^rd  semester is not possible.
