Aim of Course

By acquiring the theoretical and methodological foundations, and by integrating this knowledge into a competent profile as a coach and mentor, participants are able to adequately and consistently accompany students and employees throughout all their learning processes. Concrete testing and reflection of one's own actions is an essential element.

This continuing education course also takes into account the practice and specific circumstances of the fields of social-educational work in Luxembourg, as well as a wide variety of legal frameworks that regulate both intervention and continuing education and that are crucial for the training of professional practice and practice supervisors.

The certificate is aimed at

• Practice supervisors of students and trainees in the social and/or educational field.
• Practice supervisors of the professional introduction phases in the public service (see: la réforme de la fonction publique entrée en vigueur le 1er octobre 2015: Stage du fonctionnaire et de l’employé(e) de l’Etat en début de carrière, ceci ne s’applique pas seulement aux enseignants, mais également au personnel éducatif et psychosocial)
• Social work professionals (including "non-professionals") with tasks in accompanying and advising learning processes in organisations or personnel development, as well as professionals in coordination and leadership positions.

Scope of the certificate

• 20 ECTS
