Sarah Kostecki joined the Department of Social Sciences as a Post-doc in September 2021.

Her research interests are comparative and centered on the links between work-family policy and gender employment inequalities across high-income countries, as well as the measurement of work-family policy. Sarah works as part of the PROPEL project with Prof. Lindsay Flynn. The goals of this project are to evaluate the relationships between housing policy and socio-economic inequalities across high-income countries and to develop and administer a new questionnaire across select high-income countries that will address how young people make housing decisions. Sarah completed her PhD in Political Science in June 2021 at the Graduate Center, CUNY in New York City.
