Bachelor in Applied Information Technology – Continuing Education Programme

The Bachelor in Applied Information Technology - Continuing Education Programme (BINFO-CEP) at the University of Luxembourg is developed in partnership with the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Center (LLLC) of the Chambre des Salariés (CSL). It offers a course programme that responds to the needs of professionals who want to improve and extend their professional expertise in information technology as part of a lifelong-learning activity.

The Master in Information and Computer Sciences (MICS) at the University of Luxembourg enables students to acquire deeper knowledge in computer science by understanding its abstract and interdisciplinary foundations, focusing on problem solving and developing lifelong learning skills.

The Master in Information System Security Management (MISSM) at the University of Luxembourg is developed in partnership with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). This Master aims to train professionals in information security management.

Master en Développement et Validation du Logiciel

Directed by Prof. Dr. Yves Le Traon

Le Master en Développement et Validation du Logiciel (MDVL) à l'Université du Luxembourg est proposé en partenariat avec l'Université de Franche-ComtéDispensé à distance et entièrement en ligne, il offre une formation innovante de haut niveau dans le domaine du test et de la validation des logiciels. Il vise à former des cadres de l’informatique capables d’appréhender la conception et le développement de logiciels avec différents paradigmes de programmation, et de maîtriser les compétences liées à leur validation, ce qui permet d’établir un niveau de confiance dans les éléments produits. 

Master in Technopreneurship

Directed by Prof. Dr. Pascal Bouvry and Dr. Jean-Philippe Humbert (ILNAS)

The Master in Technopreneurship (MTECH) at the University of Luxembourg is developed in partnership with the Institut luxembourgeois de la normalisation, de l'accréditation, de la sécurité et qualité des produits et services (ILNAS) and the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Center (LLLC) of the Chambre des Salariés (CSL). The Master MTECH is extremely innovative. On one hand, it provides students with a base of knowledge on topics reflecting current issues and those at the cutting edge of Smart ICT, and on the other hand, it serves as a catalyst for growth in the ICT Industry by offering practical examples and case studies illustrating the use of technical standardisation as a tool to give common technical language, build trust, and foster effectiveness in Smart ICT.

Interdisciplinary Space Master

Directed by Prof. Dr. Holger Voos

The Interdisciplinary Space Master (ISM) at the University of Luxembourg is developed in partnership with the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA). Within the University, the Master is co-hosted by the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). It offers a building block for a new global space industry. The programme aims to generate a talent pool of highly skilled engineers and innovative entrepreneurs who will be able to create, shape and sustain leading commercial space enterprises and play an important role in the economy of the future.

Doctoral Programme in Computer Science and Computer Engineering

The Doctoral Programme in Computer Science and Computer Engineering (DP-CSCE) provides an excellent environment for pursuing doctoral studies in computer science and computer engineering at an internationally competitive level and in broad interdisciplinary application. The DP-CSCE is the joint doctoral programme of the Computer Science and Communications Research Unit (CSC) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT)
