Global Exchange Programme

About Global Exchange Programme

The University of Luxembourg has signed a series of agreements with partner universities beyond the borders of Europe. The exchange opportunities offered to students within the framework of these agreements are what we call the "Global Exchange Programme".

  • Students are selected on the basis of their application file and a personal interview
  • Information sessions for students take place on 6 November 2019 during the Study Abroad Day

Time line of the application procedure for a departure in the winter semester 2020/2021:

  • 7 November 2019 - Applications open
  • 18 November 2019 - Application deadline
  • 9 - 13 December 2019 - Personal interviews
  • January 2020 - Internal selection decision

Students of the following study programmes can only participate in the Global Exchange Programme in their fourth semester of studies: Bachelor in Computer Science, Bachelor in Applied Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor en Sciences Sociales et Éducatives, Bachelor en Sciences de l’Éducation. A second call will be organized for those students in Spring 2020.

What are the major benefits of this programme?

  • No tuition fees at the host university, you will continue to pay at the University of Luxembourg;
  • A multicultural, international experience that will expand your personal network and add new competences to your profile;
  • A competitive advantage through the importance of international experiences on your CV.
