Study Morning of the Cercle Diplomatique Luxembourg at the University of Luxembourg

On Tuesday 7 June 2022, Europe Direct University of Luxembourg was pleased to welcome the Cercle Diplomatique Luxembourg at the University of Luxembourg. The Cercle Diplomatique was received by the Rector, Prof. Stephane Pallage, and Vice-Rector, Prof. Catherine Léglu, of the University who presented the values, missions and programmes offered by the University of Luxembourg. The visit then continued with a guided tour of the Luxembourg Learning Center, the Cité des Sciences and the Hauts Fourneaux du Fonds Belval.

• 9h00 –“The University of Luxembourg: present state and perspectives” – Information Session
• Opening remarks: Dr Elena DANESCU, Coordinator of Europe Direct Uni.lu
• 9h10 – 1st Part

• 9h45 – 2nd Part
  • Presentation: Mme Séverine IFFLAND, Partnership, Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office
  • Presentation: Mme Kerstin FüHRMEISTER, Manager of the University Continuing Education Department at the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre
  • Q&A and exchange of opinions with the participants
• 10h15 – Guided visit of the Luxembourg Learning Centre in the company of Mme Julie TOUSSAINT
• 11h00 – 12h30 – Guided tour of the “Cité des Sciences” and of the Blast Furnace in the company of Mme Elisabete NUNO (Fonds Belval) 
• 12h30 – End of Study Morning
