
Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg SA and Bâloise Vie Luxembourg SA Fellowship & Internship
The University of Luxembourg signed a partnership agreement with Bâloise Assurances Luxembourg SA and Bâloise Vie Luxembourg SA in February 2020 providing a framework for a student fellowship and internship programme.
In 2023, Baloise Assurances Luxembourg S.A. and Baloise Vie Luxembourg S.A. will select up to 5 (five) high-achieving students and support them during their entire Bachelor programme (Bachelor in Applied Management or Bachelor in Economics) with the following conditions:
- A monthly stipend of 300€ from the selection and for the regular duration of the Bachelor study (Semester 4-6 for the Bachelor in Applied Management and Semester 5-6 for the Bachelor in Economics)
- An internship in one of its different departments
NB: The internship semester will not be covered by the stipend but paid according to Baloise internship rules.
The cumulated stipend and internship duration may not surpass three years, the reference length of a Bachelor programme.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates are eligible for the partnership programme if they are:
- enrolled in the third semester of the Bachelor in Applied Management or the fourth semester of the Bachelor in Economics
- not registered in a subsequent bachelor or master programme,
- citizens of Luxembourg or from the European Union,
- residing in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg or in the Greater Region of Luxembourg,
- the family income of the candidates may not exceed the triple of the minimum income level in Luxembourg.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Candidates are invited to submit the following documents (in English, French or German):
- a motivation letter, indicating which department of Baloise the candidate would like to join during the internship,
- a curriculum vitae, including copies of their diplomas, certificates, and official supplements to these,
- a justification of the revenues of their parents confirmed by submitting a copy of the tax income declaration of the previous year,
- their family status,
- a proof of residence in Luxembourg or in the Greater Region of Luxembourg,
- an enrolment certificate at the University of Luxembourg (if selected the student will have to submit such a certificate of enrolment to Baloise each semester).
The deadline for applications is 26 March 2023 at 23h59.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The award of the scholarship will be made according to the quality of the application file:
- academic performance,
- general effort and progress of the student in his/her academic performance,
- the ethos and motivation of the applicant.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
A Selection Committee composed of the Head of Human Resources and another Head of Baloise (Operations or Corporate Governance) will evaluate the applications based on the selection criteria enumerated above.
The Management of Baloise Assurances Luxembourg S.A. and Baloise Vie Luxembourg S.A. will then validate the final selection of the scholarship recipients.
