- Decision making and Aggregation function theory
- Discrete mathematics and Operations research (in particular Boolean and pseudo-Boolean function theory and its applications)
- Functional equations (such as associativity, bisymmetry, Dhombres equation etc.)
- Ordered sets, lattice theory and universal algebra

- Logic (in particular many-valued logic and modal logic)
