During the first Covid-19 lockdown, researchers of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences coordinated a comprehensive survey with participants from Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Germany and France, assessing the well-being of the population during this lockdown. The Professors Conchita d’Ambrosio and Claus Vögele, together with postdocs Annika Lutz and Remi Yin, closely assessed persons’ regular health status, their experiences during COVID-19 (including social environment, financial and health worries, isolation and family environment or degrees of confidence towards authorities) and mental health changes. Results of this first survey are now available in the report “COME-HERE: How do different confinement measures affect people in Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden?”. Results highlight parallels in some of the countries surveyed, but also surprising differences. The report can be accessed here. A second survey of the same participants is currently underway, and a third phase is planned to take place in a few weeks. |
