The Centre supports the following activities: 

  • PhD student positions: PhD students conducting research in Security, Reliability and Trust have a PhD position at the Centre.
  • Industrial PhD projects: The PhD student carries out thesis research in cooperation with an external partner. The project is defined together with an advisor at UL and primarily funded by external sources. The students share their time between the partner and SnT.
  • Graduate courses: The Centre provides courses of relevance to the research and education program.The Centre also participates in the teaching of graduate courses within the Master of Science in Information and Computer Sciences program.
  • Summer/Winter School is an intensive course typically given off campus and open to students for other universities. The duration is one week and often treats an interdisciplinary topic.
  • Mobility : Travel grants are awarded to students for active workshop and conference participation. Also, research visits and internships in other research laboratories are supported for 2-6 months.
  • Master/Bachelor thesis projects: SnT provides also Master/Bachelor thesis projects up to 6 months in an international and research intensive environment.
  • Internship: no internships available for the moment
