In the scope of consolidating a Greater Region space-tech scene with a focus on future talents, Technoport incubator, InTech and partners are co-organising the SpaceHack Luxembourg hackathon that will take place virtually next 12-13-14th November 2021.

SpaceHack is a hackathon, a collaborative event meant to combine the expertise and skills of space and non-space talents in collective entrepreneurial action. The hackathon is structured as a team competition of 24hours over three days (3x8hrs) of non-stop idea to concept challenge with the support of domain experts and coaches. The scope of participating teams is to design innovative concepts that explore the near future potentials of the new space industry. In particular, the focus theme of this edition is the future Lunar settlement foundations.

By participating in the hackathon, participants enforce their entrepreneurship and innovation management practices through multidisciplinary experiential learning. The hackathon is open to space-related professionals and international university/doctoral students in the following fields: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), Business, Medical, Design, Behavioral sciences. Participants will work in teams of 5 people each.

While initial online registration for the hackathon is on an individual basis, to participate it is essential to have a team. Teams will be consolidated during the third pre-event webinar with the support of the organizing team.
