Mirko Hirschmann is a Research Associate at the Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and New Technology Research Group (EINT), headed by Prof. Christian Fisch. Previously, he completed his doctorate at the Chair of Management at Trier University. His research interest centers on entrepreneurship and innovation to address grand societal challenges. More specifically, Mirko carries out studies in the field of impact investing, social innovation, intellectual property rights and hybrid growth of new ventures. Mirko’s research is mostly quantitative-empirical and has been published in journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Small Business Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production and Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly.
