Saeid Sedighi received his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2012 from Imam Khomeini International University (IKIU), Qazvin, Iran. He has served as a research assistant in the Signal Processing and Information Theory (SPIT) lab at the Electrical Engineering Department, IKIU, working on spectrum sensing for cognitive radio networks. His research interests are statistical signal processing, detection and estimation theory, and cognitive radio. Saeid joined the Signal Processing & Communications group, SIGCOM, headed by Prof. Björn Ottersten. He will work on Compressed sensing mmWave radar for automotive applications, under the supervision of Prof. Björn Ottersten and Dr. Bhavani Shankar.
