Amin earned a MSc degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Islamic Azad University, Iran, in 2011. In parallel to his studies, he also worked as a student research assistant in the Computer and Electronic laboratory from 2009 – 2011 and was a teacher assistant from 2010 – 2012 at the Science and Research Branch of his university. His research interests include Mechatronics, Control theories & its applications, Real Time Optimization, and Automotive Engineering.

Amin is working on his accepted AFR project called “Stochastic Model Predictive Control for Eco-Driving Assistance Systems in Electric Vehicles” (SEDAS) under the supervision of Prof. Holger Voos. The general objective of this project is the development of a more sophisticated driver assistance system for electric vehicles that supports ecological driving.
