Bachelor in Accounting and TaxationObjectives The main objective of the Bachelor in Accounting and Taxation (BCF) is to develop fundamental knowledge and skills in all areas of accounting and taxation in order to facilitate professional integration and career development. OrganisationThe Bachelor in Accounting and Taxation is a programme offered by the University of Luxembourg in collaboration with the Ecole de Commerce et de Gestion - School of Business and Management, Luxembourg (ECG) and the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre granting 120 ECTS. After two semesters in the BTS Gestionnaire comptable et fiscal (at the ECG) or an equivalent programme, students continue their studies at the University from semester 3 to semester 6. The courses of semester 4 (mobility) are organised abroad by a host university. The bachelor's degree ends with an internship in semester 6, the objective of which is to discover the world of work, to put one's courses into practice, to develop one's knowledge and to become more professional. Opportunities and benefitsThanks to its job-based approach and its digital orientation, this bachelor’s degree offers privileged access to jobs related to public accounting and tax consulting in a dynamic market that is not experiencing a crisis. The profession of an accountant has been identified as one of the six “golden jobs” to be targeted in the coming years. It is also possible to pursue a master’s degree (Accounting and Audit; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Wealth Management). Teaching languagesFrench and English AdmissionAccess to the Bachelor in Accounting and Taxation is subject to a selection by a committee on the basis of an application file. The candidate must demonstrate the acquisition of 60 ECTS at the time of application or have at least 3 years of professional experience in the field.
