Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

What do you like most in MEI?

Due to the fact that the course consists of a highly diversified and international group, all participants, including me, are benefiting from the cultural and personal experiences. The working atmosphere in such a group is on the one hand very hard but therefore also increasing your cultural and team working skills an a very high level. The international Professors in the course are all experts in their fields and many of them are also able to share some practical knowledge with the students as most of them are Entrepreneurs and not just purely academics, which make the theory by far more valid in terms of applicable advice.

Why did you choose the University of Luxembourg for performing your master studies?

The University offered a unique possibility for me by combining the studies of Entrepreneurship and innovation with a scholarship and a Internship. This also leads to practical experience and the possibility to get in close contact with the industry and the key players in the field of studies

Which specialization did you choose? Why?

I chose to specialize in entrepreneurship, mainly because I am interested in starting my own business in the future. I think this course will prepare me for many of the different aspects of running a company and giving me the possibility to get in touch with important information about organizations’ and the change to establish a network in this particular sector.

How do you finance your studies?

I am partially financed by my parents and partially financed by my mentor company, which also compensates for my study fees.

Which hobbies do you practice in Luxembourg?

In the summer Luxembourg invites to visit its parks or go to one of the numerous outdoor cafes and bars, just sit done and relax with a class of wine. Of course I also like to meet with my course mates going out and visiting the great region.

Will you stay in Luxembourg?

Well most probably yes for a certain amount of time. I consider it a very good place to get a career started.

Which advices could you give new students?

First of all, find a place to stay in good time, its really tough and can easily get rather expensive. Think about living cost and check your budget. Consider taking a French course up front if you don’t speak the language.
