Application Requirements



National Assembly of Lebanon

  • Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s level degree (180 ECTS) in public administration, law, contemporary political history, international relations, philosophy, political science, economics or social sciences.
  • Candidates must possess requisite levels of French language (C1) and English language (B2) respectively. Proof of language proficiency is compulsory in the language of instruction if the student's mother tongue is neither French nor English and/or if the student has not completed 5 consecutive years of schooling in French and/or English before entering an institution of higher education.
    • For certification in French: Diplôme approfondi de langue française (DALF)
    • For certification in English: BULATS, TOEIC, TOEFL, GMAT, IELTS, Cambridge, GRE SAT.
  • Selection will be based on submitted dossiers, limited to a maximum of 36 seats per year.



How to apply

  • Submit a detailed application dossier which must include the following:
  • Full (certified) transcripts of three previous year of University-level studies and a bachelor degree certificate.
  • Motivation letter (maximum of 500 words).
  • Proof of the requisite linguistic competence: Candidates should provide evidence of English-language proficiency at B2 level (BULATS, TOEIC, TOEFL, GMAT, IELTS, Cambridge, GRE SAT) and/or French-language proficiency at C1 level (DALF). The admissions committee may accept other forms of evidence, such as relevant professional experience or secondary-level studies, at its discretion. The committee may also request additional evidence of linguistic competence as it deems necessary.
  • Curriculum vitae, describing professional experience.
  • Two confidential letters of reference commenting on your aptitude to complete the proposed course of study. These letters should normally be from professors / lecturers able to evaluate your previous academic performance. Professional references may, however, be substituted where appropriate. The letters should be sent to Philippe Poirier, Director of the Master,
