Master in Secondary Education - Luxemburgistik

The Master en Enseignement Secondaire consists of three main pillars:

• Pillar I: Professional knowledge
• Pillar II: Didactic professional knowledge
• Pillar III: General professional knowledge

The study programme is accompanied by two three-week school internships with preparatory and follow-up workshops and is completed by a Master's thesis.

The distribution of ECTS points of pillars I, II and III may vary depending on the main subject.

In addition to subject-specific professional knowledge and didactic professional knowledge, the courses in the area of general professional knowledge systematically teach educational science, educational psychology and general didactic knowledge on the topics of multilingualism and heterogeneity, the research field of schools and teaching and learning in a social context.

On the other hand, the workshops accompanying the internship are located in this area, which prepares and ensure the theory-practice transfer.
