Master of Science in Engineering - Sustainable Product Creation

Admission requirements

Candidates for admission are required to have at least one of the following degree:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with the profile Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Bachelor of Applied Science, with the profile Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or similar: these students can apply to the Master if they have a grade of at least 15 out of 20 Points (75%). The final decision as to whether these students can participate in the programme will be based on their academic record and the successful completion of mandatory upgrading courses to be completed prior to start of the Master
  • Other students with a Bachelor degree (or even Master degree) can apply for the Master course when the level is at least the same as the students of the two groups mentioned above. The applicants will be selected "sur dossier" and mandatory bridge courses can be defined.

Application

You must prepare the following documents before proceeding with your online application to the Master of Science in Civil Engineering:

  • 1 ID photo
  • 1 copy of ID or passport
  • 1 copy (both sides) of health insurance / social security card + validity date (Non-EU students can get this in Luxembourg)
  • 1 copy of the University diploma(s) including grading (+ official translation if other languages than French, German or English)
  • A one page motivation letter
  • A detailed CV
  • B2-certificate (or TOEFL) in English
  • Letters of recommendation can be added as an option

Guardian Glass Scholarship

The Guardian Glass scholarship programme supports international Master’s students in physics or engineering, based on merit and /or need. The scholarship will go towards meeting international students’ expenses while studying and living in Luxembourg. In parallel of your online application, please send some words about your motivation to get this scholarship via guardian.scholarship@uni.lu
