Bachelor en Médecine

The Bachelor of Medicine (BMED) at the University of Luxembourg is developed from an existing first year of medical studies at the University of Luxembourg and focuses on the early development of clinical skills through simulation training and tutoring by doctors with proven pedagogical skills.

Important: Medicine studies are done concomitantly in French and German, C1 certificates are required in both languages and there is no possibility to study Medicine in English at the University of Luxembourg.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (130 PLACES)

The ideal candidate is a high school student who has just passed his or her secondary school leaving exams for the current year, who has just graduated from a science section or stream or who has taken as many science subjects as possible up to the final year of high school.

Please note: no documents other than school leaving certificates and high school transcripts will be considered for selection. We cannot take into account any private tuition or training courses!

• Secondary school leaving certificate, preferably in a scientific section or an international or foreign diploma recognised as equivalent by the Ministry of Education
• Official C1 certificates in French and German from an accredited language school or 7 years spent in Luxembourgish educatio
  • average grade in the final exam at the end of secondary schooling
  • marks in science subjects in the secondary school leaving examination
  • grades in science subjects on all transcripts for the last three years of high school

• Non EU students: February to April
