Entry Requirements

This study programme is committed to excellence. It runs consecutively to the University’s Bachelor’s in Engineering (professional) of the Energy and Environment Sector. Direct admission from this bachelor’s is possible based on good results without any supplemental conditions.

Other engineering sciences graduates (e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical…) can also be admitted without conditions. To be admitted without conditions the following lectures from our consecutive bachelors’ should be considered as minimum requirement:


Électrotechnique et installation technique électrique
Machines de combustion
Machines hydrauliques
Physique du bâtiment
Combustion et combustible
Technique de chauffage
Ventilation et climatisation



Admissions from programmes other than from the consecutive bachelors’ are subject to certain conditions, which should to be discussed on an individual basis with the study director.

Start of studies & enrolment

The study programme starts middle of September.

Enrolment period for European students is from January to August. Enrolment period for non-European applicants is from January to end of April. It is recommended to apply as soon as possible due to the limited number of places.

Enrolment requires online registration, where the following documents are needed:

  • ID photo;
  • Copy of ID or passport;
  • Copy (both sides) of social security card and validity date;
  • Copy of University diploma(s) including grading (and official translation if other languages than French, German or English);
  • Letter of motivation;
  • Detailed CV;
  • Letters of recommendation can be added as an option.
