Interdisciplinarity

The UNESCO Chair in Human Rights is committed to developing an interdisciplinary as well as interfaculty study and research programme.

The interdisciplinary approach allows us to cover all the important concepts of human rights, including their universality and indivisibility.

In order to integrate the commitments of the Chair in the various departments of the university, the following activities are pursued:

• Foster collaboration among teachers, researchers and administrators of the three faculties of the University of Luxembourg
• Promote cooperation with other universities and further deepen relations with networks at both the European and international level
• Encourage the mobility of students, teachers and researchers
• Promote an exchange of experiences as well as of approaches on the content and methodology of the teaching of human rights
