On the future of Europe with Jyrki Katainen

European Commissioner Jyrki Katainen will be giving a presentation on the Investment Plan of the Juncker administration - launched in November 2014 - on Monday, 27 April 2015. Focus will be on debating directly with the audience about Europe's future. Jyrki Katainen is leading the project team Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness. His main task is to deliver the new jobs, growth and investment programme, which will mobilise up to €300 billion in additional public and private investment in the real economy over the next three years. Mr Katainen is also coordinating the mid-term review of the Europe 2020 strategy, Europe's economic growth strategy. Apart from that, he is pursuing structural reforms in EU countries and ensuring, together with the Vice-President for the Euro and Social Dialogue, that the EU's economic policy coordination is successful and takes account of the social impacts of reforms.
