The multiple links that exist between art and science are on focus from 15 to 17 October 2015 at the Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean (MUDAM) in Luxembourg-city. The international symposium “Science in the making, art in the making”, co-organised by the Universiy of Luxembourg, is held in the framework of the exhibition "Eppur si muove – Art and technology, a shared sphere", running until January 2016. Artists, researchers, writers, historians, philosophers and other experts are gathering to offer an interdisciplinary approach on the topic. Speakers coming from a variety of backgrounds include, between others, Jean-Christophe Bailly, Pierre Cassou-Noguès, Marie-Sophie Corcy, Paul Granjon, Christoph Fink, Patrick Hénaff, Jean-Marc Lévy-Leblond, Todd Lubart, Michel Menu, Michel Paysant, Hans-Jörg Rheinberger, Steven Shapin, Conrad Shawcross, and Raphaël Zarka. The international symposium is presided over by Patricia Falguières, professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. - - - See also our related participation to "Eppur si muove.
