Uni.lu hit the streets for the 10th edition of Escher Kulturlaf

Last Saturday, 3 September 2016, the University of Luxembourg took to the streets in the annual Escher Kulturlaf.

In its debut performance a total 88 staff and students took part, either as individual runners or members of the University team, running distances of either 5km, 10km and 10miles.

The University team

This dynamic event organised by the city of Esch-sur-Alzette, promotes sport, art and culture, attracting thousands of runners and supporters every year. In addition to running, live music and festivities kept people entertained until the early hours of the morning.

To complete a fabulous day, the city of Esch-sur-Alzette presented the University with a welcome gift, a piece of street art graffiti by the artist Sanctobin.
